WHAT WE WANT: The Technical Project Manager helps to ensure the successful delivery of multiple, highly technical concurrent software platform, middleware, architecture and infrastructure projects. Primarily as a facilitator the TPM keeps everyone in the team on track by helping to solve problems and remove blockers in a professional, objective way. He/she often draws on a strong delivery background and experience in mentoring colleagues and implementing best practice techniques and continuous process improvements. The TPM must be able to cooperate with all team members, ranging from the Business Stakeholders, Software Architects, Developers, Quality Assurance, to Interface Designers and Business Analysts, whilst remaining objective regarding his/her own responsibilities and allowing the team sufficient self-management freedom to deliver against the requirements. The internal matrix structure will include product management, business and IT Operational units. The PM should be able to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, and coordinate the repeated on-time delivery of sprints and be able to effectively communicate progress and status to the stakeholders.
